Plinky is not just an eight-voice polyphonic touch synthesizer for Eurorack, it's a way of life!
Plinky is for everyone who needs a versatile, compact and distinctive synthesizer on the road, on vacation, at family reunions and on stage. It fits into 24HP Eurorack cases, but can also be used as a stand-alone desktop mini-synthesizer with line-level stereo input and headphone output. Plinky is powered via USB, so go ahead and charge your power bank for your next trip on the subway!
Plinky is a complete polyphonic synthesizer with sampler, sequencer, arpeggiator, effects, preset memory and a touch interface that can be used to set parameters and play the instrument. Plinky has five CV inputs (four of which are for modulation and one for pitch information), a gate input and a clock input as well as an audio input that is mixed with the synthesizer sound and can be routed into the effects. In addition to the headphone and L/R audio outputs, Plinky provides clock, trigger, pitch-high (highest note), pitch-low (lowest note) gate and analog pressure outputs for using the touch surface signals with other modules. The internal sampler can record eight samples and play them back in two complex modes.
